SERVER - A LexLive Server has the responsibility of providing guest service in the dining rooms, sports bars and bowling area, as well as enhancing the overall Guest experience. The goal of the Server is to connect with guests to build relationships and provide friendly, attentive, fun and knowledgeable service. Servers take orders for drinks and food in the bowling area / dining room / bar / lounge areas and process guest orders in a quick and efficient manner. Key responsibilities may include:

·         Equipment Maintenance:

o    Regularly inspect and service all bowling lane equipment (pinsetters, ball returns, lane conditioners, scoring systems). 

o    Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with arcade games. 

o    Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment to minimize breakdowns.

o    Track inventory of spare parts and supplies.

o    Coordinate with vendors for parts and repairs when necessary. 

·         Team Management:

o    Lead a team of bowling and arcade maintenance technicians. 

o    Assign tasks and prioritize repairs based on urgency. 

o    Train new technicians on proper maintenance procedures and safety protocols. 

o    Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback. 

·         Compliance and Safety:

o    Ensure adherence to all safety regulations regarding equipment maintenance and repair. 

o    Monitor and address potential hazards in the bowling alley and arcade areas. 

o    Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities and repairs. 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including knowledge of bowling lane machinery and some arcade game mechanics.

Industry technical experience is not required, but hands-on technical experience is required.

Hands-On repairing. Maintenance Technicians are primarily responsible for the repair and operation of pinsetters, pin spotters, automatic scoring machines, lanes and other facility equipment at the highest level of operating proficiency. Maintenance Technicians are also responsible for all the repairs and operations of an amusement arcade. His/her job is to oversee, manage, and maintain mechanical and arcade machines.

Essential Duties:

Bowling:

1. Ensures that bowling equipment is being serviced and maintained.
2. Ensures that lane maintenance and repairs on bowling lanes, pinsetters, and other bowling related equipment are being conducted and maintained.
3. Learns and implements Brunswick machine area safety procedures and standards of operation for bowling equipment, building maintenance, and preventative maintenance programs.
4. Ensures Brunswick operational compliance with appropriate laws and policies to include OSHA safety practices and procedures.
5. Identifies and suggest repairs and replacements of malfunctioning bowling equipment with final approvals from Manager/ Supervisor or Sr. General Manager as appropriate.
6. Ensures high scoring lane conditions meet and align with USBC specifications.

Amusement (Arcade):

1. Ensures that amusement arcade games are being serviced and maintained.
2. Responds to customer complaints of machine malfunction; analyzes the mechanism to find the root of the problem.
3. Manages the installation, maintenance, and repairs both mechanical and circuitry issues in arcade game machines.
4. Manages the transporting of machines and ensures machines are assembled using meters, electrical parts, hand tools, and soldering irons.
5. Able to readily identify the most common problem with components like controls and audio systems.

Other:

1. Performs other maintenance and repair tasks.
2. Keeps a clean and organized workshop.
3. Ability to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays, as well as overtime to support business needs.
4. Other duties may be assigned.
5. Follows up to complete any assigned work.
6. Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace.
7. Reports all irregular issues and problems to general management for a solution.

Qualifications:

Maintenance Technicians must possess a strong sense of customer service and interpersonal skills to include high integrity and respects for everyone. Maintenance Technicians must demonstrate solid communication skills, strong critical and analytical thinking skills, and appreciation for diversity (thought, ethnic, gender, etc.).

Education and/or Experience:

Two-year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a bowling center/arcade environment where high levels of noise, dust, and activity can be expected. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend, stretch, twist, climb and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces. The employee is required to stand and walk for extensive periods of time without breaks during busy times. In addition, the employee will need to be able to use their hands/fingers to handle and feel and reach with hands and arms. Lifting and/or moving up to 100lbs with assistance is required.
